Blasted his coach publicly now To force his trade demand

Gase seems like an idiot but theres better ways to do this

"I don't feel like he's the right leader for this organization to reach the Promised Land," Adams said. "As a leader, what really bothers me is that he doesn't have a relationship with everybody in the building.

"At the end of the day, he doesn't address the team," Adams added. "If there's a problem in the locker room, he lets another coach address the team. If we're playing sh---y and we're losing, he doesn't address the entire team as a group at halftime. He'll walk out of the locker room and let another coach handle i

People need to take their p&g glasses off. Dudes a bitch. First he demands a trade. Then he throws his coach under the bus.

Talking to the media about this stuff or bitching on social media hurts the entire organization and doesn't help anyone-including Adams. He could have quietly demanded a trade without running his mouth. Today's players think that they are bigger than the game.

I agree it could have been handled better, but at the same time, this is a pretty good way to force himself out of NY. Also, I couldn't care less about the Jets, and if Gase is really that bad, no one will mind what Jamal said when he's fired in the next couple years.

This is business.
Jamal is no longer playing a game with buddies.
He is conducting himself as a businessman, as are the Jets. He may have more cards than they do ultimately and he's playing some.
Good for him.

Honestly, good for him. I can’t stand athletes in today’s day and age and I’m completely on board with Jamal blasting some stuck up frickhead who’s making $5,000,000 a year to walk around the building with his nose turned up. Those are the absolute worst people to work with/for

Interesting you chose the coach's side(a known dickhead) over an LSU great. I wonder why? Does the pigment of their skin have anything to do with it?

I mean there aren’t really better ways to put public pressure on your team to trade you.

I mean, he seems like a terrible coach. And Jamal is essentially stuck there with a bad team and a bad coach and apparently a bad owner.

He has a right to be pissed to no end. He should be traded. Don't forget that this all started because they floated his name around for trade talks after telling him they want him to be a Jet for life.
