Cold all day every day. You can always add a layer of clothing, but there is only so much you can take off in public.

Cold is definitely the answer here, but a dry cold is FAR preferable than a wet cold. I never understood the difference until I spent some time in Utah. It was 20 something degrees and we were skiing in ski pants and a t-shirt.

Not to mention you have to run the heater in the house which pulls all of the moisture out of the air and dries my sinuses up and makes my skin itchy. Cold weather sucks arse.
