Exactly. And how many thousands who are vaccinated don't even know they have it? Sick people are going to go the hospital it's not rocket science. You don't have a sample size on the data to know if that 58% means anything. The article is talking about immune compromised people. You're also talking about Israel which has a different healthcare system so how many people who need to go to the hospital are not going? You can't draw conclusions either way. It's talking about a 3rd shot for an immune compromised population you dolt.
Doesn't matter how many times you beat your chest you're not helping your argument. Ignorant people shouldn't comment on medical because you clearly don't understand how data works. That right there is incomplete and can't really support an argument on either way yet. However, they do have data elsewhere that contradicts what's listed here on the 58% in other countries. It's whether or not you want to believe it since it doesn't fit your narrative. He's also listing a liberal media site as if they would reveal any data that would go against their argument. Hey moron, this is the very group used to sell the vaccine. Israel has been way ahead of everyone else with the vaccine. Their data is showing what is going to happen here; limited protection for Delta. wasting time trying to get the kunckleheads to take the vaccine. my suggestion: we have one of the best vaccine verification systems in the country...NO ONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN TIGER STADIUM WITHOUT proof of having taken the VACCINE OR REASON THEY CANNOT TAKE IT.

In January, people over 70 were more than 10 times more likely to be hospitalized for covid than people 30-39. Last week people over 70 were 3 times more likely to be hospitalized for covid than people 30-39.
The vaccines are working in reducing severity of infection and preventing hospitalization.
For a typical 40 year old, your risk of being hospitalized if infected with covid drops from 1 in 120 to 1 in 12000. Risk of dying if infected goes from 1 in 500 to 1 in 100,000.
If only a small number of people get hospitalized, covid won't matter anymore.
Right now because of good vaccination rates in people over 60. In Louisiana, we have reduced potential hospitalizations by more than 50%.
That should keep restrictions from being reimposed. But if we could get the vaccination rate over 60%, especially in 30-50 year olds, we would never have more than 5 or 6 hundred people in the hospital for covid again.
In the UK, with a vaccination rate of 53%, they only have 2000 hospitalized and less than 40 deaths a day while averaging 50k new positive tests per day.
