I love enchiladas. Who do y’all believe makes the best. I’m not looking for a overall restaurant but just enchiladas.

Friend,

A second vote for Casa Garcia, which has better Tex-Mex, a term I still do not fully understand, than any such restaurant in Houston. It is an underappreciated Metro treasure.

Weird hate for Casa Garcia on here. Place is really really good and the enchiladas are on point. His son’s place(Garcia’s) may also be the best on the Northshore.

I haven’t heard a single good thing about Las Cruces food.

I'm really not a fan of Mexican food. I would eat just simple things like tamales and enchiladas. A group of friends were going to eat at a Mexican restaurant in Denham and they asked me to go with them. I went and got the beef enchiladas with the white sauce. When my food arrived it looked really good. I tasted an enchilada and it was really good. The white sauce was really a cheese sauce that tasted very good. My friends are going back on Saturday night and I plan to go with them. I was surprised to learn that the place is in a chain of restaurants with the same name. Like I said before, I'm not a fan of Mexican food but the place they brought me to had really good food. The restaurant is named EL something and I really enjoyed it. The last time that I remember eating at a Mexican place was years ago at Ponchos where you raised a flag. My stomach did not like Ponchos

No, but it must not be far from Los Panchos, cuz I think it's on Stump and Terry Parkway.

Good?

My grandfather (mom's dad) used to love eating there, and he passed away 20 years ago. They're not some culinary bastion, but they're doing something right to stay around for 40+ years.

The wife an I went about two weeks ago, and all the food was very good. I did have the enchiladas, and they were quite good. The place was packed, and is going to print money in that location as long as they can keep up with the volume of customers.
