Alright. I have to figure this build out. I played a bit with it and seemed to be doing ok. Had 4x banner for a good bit using a glave. However, I didn't get many orbs because of not using my melee to get kills. This was regular nightfalls. How does this work in harder content?

Synthoceps passively buffs melee damage 165% in PVE when surrounded by enemies. It also buffs super damage and grants +35 reload and maybe some handling.

Wormgods actively buffs melee up to 275% using a meter that increases with melee kills and finishers and decays over time.
The meter is broken up into five sections which provide escalating melee and Glaive melee damage bonuses The upper end of the meter also provides escalating weapon damage bonuses (25% weapon damage starting around its 3rd or 4th meter).

As the meter decays, it passes back through the earlier tiers rather than deactivating immediately. The meter decays more quickly the more full it is.

Wormgods is stronger, just more situational and a little harder to use.

Synthos are more consistent and easier to use with less reward.

Yea Wormgod is just a little difficult to manage whereas the synthos is just in the background and you can just play and it will always be maxed out generally.

I think wormgods are a little easier on the bonk titan as it is easy to keep your melee ability up and keep getting kills with it. Still great with strand, just easier to chain melee kills with bonk titan.

Banner of War titans need a one-two punch shotgun otherwise the build is nothing special. BoW, one-two punch, and synthoceps all buff mele damage. You one shot basically everything with your buffs up and grapple punch.

Great idea to mention those sites. Especially Destiny Item Manager (DIM) and light.gg.
Accessing your vault from orbit was a needed QoL upgrade but I still use DIM on my phone a lot since you can acquire bounties from any vendor quickly.
Light.gg is my go to when clearing vault space. Just know the rating system can be skewed at times based on sheer volume and not perks, especially when weapons with predetermined rolls are released as part of new or seasonal events.
