I knew there was a well pump in the pond out front but with everything going on hadn't had a chance to fool around with it.

Paid an irrigation company to come out and diagnose.

Man I was excited when zone 1 fired up and those 7 spray heads rose from random spots in the lawn like zombies! They hadn't been run in years as the lady who lived here before was old and let some things go.

... Then zone 2 fired up.. Zone 3... Zone 4... Then nothing. Fiddling around with one of the in ground valve conduits... Then 5! 6! 7! 8!

Holy shite this is amazing! There's like 50-60 heads going.

A few were blown out and shooting water into the air like a fire hydrant but they had the little black heads with them and replaced them on the spot.

Took them all of 30 minutes to fix the whole shebang.

This is insane. Some of these heads have about an inch of soil or mud/grass on top and when it cuts off they disappear back into the ground and I was trying to scribble down all the locations I had to give up. Standing 2 feet away and when it dropped down it completely disappeared.

Setting these MFs to go off for 20 minutes each starting at 430am every day.

It's FREE so Imma have a hella lawn. We have about 16 gardens including a massive butterfly sanctuary in the back and I'm slowly beating back the weeds.

ETA heres a pic I took off zone 2 running. It's the side of the house and you can see one of the smaller gardens I've been working on.

tl;dr CAD has a new toy

Everyday is too frequent unless we are in drought conditions. Set it to every other day. Do you have a rain sensor installed to turn the system off when we do,get rain?

Not if he is running rotors. Precipitation rate is too low. 30 min each zone.

Installing a well pump is goal of mine when I finally get around to doing a full reno of our outdoor space.

its pretty steep.

make sure to crank up the video resolution; YT likes to set mine at 360p by default. you can see some areas are still a work in progress (particularly at the top of the backyard and down that side) and my phone picks up every little sound so apologies for the breathing sounds.

Sorry I got cold sweats and flipped out at the amount of time required to maintain all that and killed the video halfway through!

Yikes! Beautiful place though!

Your yard should get salted just for saying this.

Is 3 X a week for 12 mins the official irrigation time? I have the Orbit, skinny pop up sprayers that cascade what is heavier than a mist but probably just under what would be actual rainfall.

I have so many flowers and plants I'm just going to keep it on a daily schedule for now to keep the ground moist.

Wiz..I got your fridge/freezer combo and even though the kitchen is still missing countertops and backsplash I installed the trim kit and slid it into it's box and everyone that walks in just assume it cost 10k.

That's a great looking set in person. Don't think I could go back to normal sized fridge now.
