Gymnastics 101 right “stick the landings”. I think it’s in their head right now and I’m not sure they can stop now.

Are tickets to nationals on sale to season ticket holders yet? Did they send out an email?

I've watched every meet and I don't know why but I feel like that was the first time I heard them say it was vertigo she was dealing with. Not sure how you can even do gymnastics with that much less at a high level. I'd prefer for her to be in the lineup, but if that's still an issue, I don't think you can have her in

I said earlier this week if she can’t go because of vertigo, move Aleah to leadoff, sav 2nd, kiya 3rd, Ashley 4th, Konnor 5th and ha last.

I know it is late in the season but I really wish all the coaches would change their lineup order to maximize scores. The judges love Konnor so move her down! They also seem to love Ashley on bars. I think if you moved kj down in the floor she could get a 10 just about every time. Seniority shouldn’t mean you get to be last! No that I don’t love Haleigh but she is not our best floor person. Nor is kiya. I can see using Haleigh last on the other events because she is so clutch but not floor. Hell move her last in beam and put Konnor before her. Move Aleah to 3rd and kiya to 4th. When you have the best beam worker in the country (my biased opinion obvs) you don’t keep her 3rd in the lineup! Anyway, rant over and go tigers!

I'm seeing on social media that posters also recognize that our beam lineup is off. They have commented on Aleah's beam performance and pose the question as to why she is the anchor and not Konnor or Haleigh. I am puzzled as to why she is struggling with the dismount. It often appears to be rushed throwing her off balance. She was an awesome beam worker last year. I would love to see her bounce back for the championships and also for Paris.

A lot of times anchor is a preference in the lineup thing. Kiya or Hayleigh or Konnor might not want to close beam idk pure speculation on my part.

I attribute Aleah not sticking her beam discount to simply a lack of focus. Maybe Gnat is not saying the right things and connecting with her. Not getting Aleah in the zone like a good coach should.

Aleah hasn't felt the pressure on beam in a while. For the most part, she has gone up to beam with 5 hits in front of her.

On paper, this is the best beam lineup this school has ever had, and we are giving tenths away off of baby dismounts. If Im being honest, I have not at all been impressed with the job Gnat has done.
She has not developed or coached a beamer to be something more than they are.

As compared to say uneven bars look at Ashley Cowan. I was never that impressed with Cowan when she first came here, but they kept coaching her and she kept working and got better and better and now and forever she can say she is an SEC Bar Champion.

It seems some of our beamers have actually regressed, unfortunately. Also none were truly developed - Alexis came from UCLA with a side aerial on her beam routine and somehow they thought the standing front tuck was a better option. Beard has Christina Desiderio potential on that event and we know she's been healthy for a while now, but also was never really developed. It's hard, because other than Konnor and Haleigh, every routine on this lineup has a clear issue that has not been addressed when it should have (Kiya's leap series choice, Sierra's dismount mainly, etc.). You almost need a miracle to have a 100% hit lineup starting off of that on paper. Savannah brought a decent beam routine from Florida that also should have been cleaned up a little and would be great to go.

Regarding Cowan, she came in mostly for her bars, so she has always been good on that event. At least there Jay did a good job sticking to what she knows and not try to force, I don't know, a bail to hs on that routine. She had a full twisting DLO as a dismount and I'm super glad they dumped that too, in favour of something she can stick consistently.

I found the rotation schedule for the NCAA Championship 4 on the floor.
If LSU wins Semi 1 they begin on floor and end on beam. If OU wins semi 2 they get the Olympic rotation. It seems like Semi 2 teams get the best draw for finals.

Don’t love that rotation. Would rather start on beam than end on.

Yeh. I think that it was always going to be hard to beat OU, if we got there. This rotation order probably makes it nearly impossible, assuming they win semi 2 (which is the most likely outcome).

If we finish 2nd then we will start on beam and finish on bars.

would move heaven and earth to bring Kara Eaker.
We have the Gage connections and more importantly we have a proven track record of being a welcome home to girls who have been hurt by their former programs

hope she finds the home and the ending to her career she deserves.

Do you know what Miller’s injury is? She’s the only elite from her gym not registered for US Classic next month but I think she’s back in the gym.

Does anyone have advice on where to buy tix? We’re going to Fort Worth but don’t have tix yet. In the past we have gotten them through LSU but it’s our understanding that it’s not the case this year. Or is that incorrect? In the past we’ve always had tix in the LSU fan section. So we’re not sure the best way to buy our tix. Also, can you pay one price for the 2 sessions on Thursday and the finals, or is each ticket a separate purchase? Thanks in advance to anyone who has some insight!
