If opting out means you lose your seats, then don't. If not then keep the tics and wait.

I need to clafify. I opted out for this season and rolled money over to pay next year's tickets. No refund for me. The deposit if you take the refund and keep your tickets for next year is $100 per seat. I was told to expect payment in October and a renewal bill in November if I went the refund route. Not worth the bother as we plan on attending next year.

I don't know whether your advice is sound but I gave you an upvote because your meme game is on point!

Wait who expects the season to be played in the spring? There is essentially no chance that happens. It will be cancelled if they don’t play this fall.

That's where I ended up. I opted out and rolled to next year. IF it takes 10 weeks for the refund and they are renewing in November, not much of a point in the refund. I'm also expecting the renewals for Baseball to be rolling in right about that time.

Looks like most are opting out...? Honestly there's no way to repeat what happened last year so the smart play is to lay em down and cash out with our winnings.

I just called the ticket office and the guy told me the same thing another poster mentioned, that once they allocate tix and potentially move your seats you can still opt out if you want to. Looks like LSU t.o. is trying to accommodate everyone as much as possible given an impossible situation.

With all that said... I'll keep em. Geaux Tigers! :)

We opted out and took the credit for next year -- I figure if we have a season and want to go to a game, we'll look for and purchase tickets. It's a chance we're willing to take -- too many unanswered questions for my liking.

Hope this helps. I emailed the ticket office on the day the email was sent. This is their reply to me, including answers to some other questions we had:

"You can delay and stay opted in at this time. Once you learn quantities you will receive as we anticipate fans being cut due to capacity limits you will receive the opportunity to opt out at that time.

- The opponents are being announced tonight on SEC Network. The dates will be announced later next week by the SEC

- This will depend on what seating options the state CDC recommends. They have not provided any information at this time. Most plans that we are working on right now moves people at least two seats off the aisle, but that is not set at this time

- We can’t answer anything on bathrooms or concessions yet as we do not know that information at this time

- Yes, once we know the capacity of the stadium and how many fans are opted in we will be able to know how many tickets we will be able to accommodate for fans. We will send this information out and fans will receive the options listed in the email below just as fans who are opting out have."

why on earth would anyone opt in with this level of unknown...

I opted out w/ refund. I'll buy single tickets if the game day experience isn't total shite but I have little hope in that being the case

Opted out, and rolled to next season...I have a good chance to use player tix for some games this season so I may go that route if possible

I opted in.

If there are no games or if there are games and no fans, we’ll have a chance to roll forward to next year or request a refund.

Same here, and this is what I did as well. To me, its either opt in or opt out via credit to next season. If you request refund, you are out $100/seat plus you are back to paying the bill shortly after receiving your money back.

Stayed in the mix. Will likely get 2 of my 4 and I’m ok with that. Roll credit to ‘21.

They don't want to be giving back money, this is exactly the reason they are taking at least 10 weeks to refund you.
