What is the risk in waiting?

They do play and you get tickets? Go to the game or sell them.

my thinking, going for it. could be a hell of a season.

I could also see the cameras zooming in on pairs of fans sitting alone with noone else around, looking miserable, and then getting shamed on-air for not wearing a mask

You sound like such a pussy for worrying about what some person that you don’t even know talking about you My theory with this mask crap is if it bothers you by me not wearing a mask then stay home or stay away from me because I DON’T GIVE A DAMM WHAT SOMEONE ELSE WANTS ME TO DO

Opted out and rolled to 2021. Refund was coming in October and renewal was set for November. I hate wearing a mask for 10 minutes. A whole game? No.

I’m all in, I see 10-20 + Covid patients per day face to face and I haven’t got it that I know of.... wearing a shitty mask only.... so I’ll take my chances in my favorite place to worship as long as I can

Opted IN strictly for the glorious gameday traffic (or lack thereof hopefully)

It is sad you had to figure all that out for him. Must have put the brain in park or started the sauce too early.

I would take them. LOL

I have 5 tickets, my brother has 3, all 8 are together. We opted out and rolled to next year, because even if we do get tickets, I doubt they put us together. I’d rather watch it at home with friends than go where the atmosphere will probably be worse than when the South Carolina game got moved to DV and the stadium was empty.

Hope this helps. I emailed the ticket office on the day the email was sent. This is their reply to me, including answers to some other questions we had:

"You can delay and stay opted in at this time. Once you learn quantities you will receive as we anticipate fans being cut due to capacity limits you will receive the opportunity to opt out at that time.

- The opponents are being announced tonight on SEC Network. The dates will be announced later next week by the SEC

- This will depend on what seating options the state CDC recommends. They have not provided any information at this time. Most plans that we are working on right now moves people at least two seats off the aisle, but that is not set at this time

- We can’t answer anything on bathrooms or concessions yet as we do not know that information at this time

- Yes, once we know the capacity of the stadium and how many fans are opted in we will be able to know how many tickets we will be able to accommodate for fans. We will send this information out and fans will receive the options listed in the email below just as fans who are opting out have."

frick em

I have 8 tickets and 4 parking passes. I just learned if ya opt out ya also give up your parking passes for this year.

WE have a large tailgate group, so now because Im opting out, the others that I sell a parking pass to, if opting in will also have no parking passes.

I think they are holding out hope that this idiot of a governor we have moves us to Phrase 3 (I doubt it very seriously). If that happens, they can put 77k in the stadium thus filling all season ticket holders as well as all the extras.

That said, i don’t think there is anyway in the world this will happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if they limit it to players parents and a few students.

What are season tix holders doing?

rolled my 4 over to 2021. I assume there will be no tailgating, and they will determine what time you can enter campus, that will be a nightmare. NO THANKS.

I opted out and rolled my money to the 2021 season. I travel several hours to the games and am not interested in not knowing week to week whether there will be a game or not.

I’ve only missed a handful of games over the last twenty years and I have to say It is bothering me that I’m not gonna be in that stadium this year...

Opt out, roll the money over to next year and if you like what they offer this fall just buy tickets on the after market and go.

My gut says tailgating will all but eliminated unless it's a patrolled/pay for event, the gameday atmosphere won't be the same, many of my friends who don't have tickets won't go tailgate making it less fun and to be quite honest, losing Texas and gaining Mizzou doesnt seem all that appealing.

I've got nothing in mail about my season tickets, much less requiring some deadline. They can't require something they haven't notified us of, in writing, by mail.
