Class Action Lawsuit Covid Vaccine Mandate and Ticket/Taf refund?

For them to change the rules for entry into the stadium and then not give your full refund (tix plus Taf contribution) without the threat of losing the rights to the tickets in the following seasons is borderline criminal. It’s complete bullshite. Any chance a Class Action Lawsuit will be filed?

Dear Tiger Fan, We appreciate your support of LSU Athletics, and we thank you for past patronage. As requested, below are your options concerning a refund for your 2021 Football Season tickets: Option 1 – Standard Refund: In accordance with our longstanding refund policy, all those who request, for any reason, refunds of their tickets, parking passes, and TAF contributions will have their payments returned in full. Ticket holders who opt for a standard refund will lose all rights to renew these items for future years. This standard refund option has been available to ticket holders in previous seasons and remains available for the 2021 season. If you are a TAF premium seating ticket holder, your contract will be voided for the remainder of the term. Option 2 – Limited Refund: A new policy for the 2021 season, fans who opt for a Limited Refund will receive payments for the price of their tickets and parking prices only. Any Tradition Fund or TAF seat contributions for the 2021 year will be considered a donation, and ticket holder will retain their renewal rights next season at full cost. If you are a TAF premium seating ticket holder, this option will allow you to remain in your current contract. Decisions will be applied to the account as a whole, rather than on an individual ticket-by-ticket basis. Parking and tickets will be treated the same. If you would like exercise one of these options, please click here to fill out the refund request form. The deadline to submit your request is this Friday, August 27. A member of our sales and service team will be in contact with you as soon as possible, beginning next week. Geaux Tigers, LSU Ticket Office

There really should be, and needs to happen. I'm guessing someone will get it going. Complete bs on woke LSU's part. They wanna change rules different from most comparable colleges...fine.. full refund. Fk LSU.

And it’s not just the required vaccine or negative PCR test, it’s the complete cluster F that process will cause. It will be a shite show.

Sounds like they have a pretty good process laid out. You know you can get prescreened and won't have to provide proof at the gate.. right?

When tickets were on sale, there were several people warning fans that LSU was going to implement some kind of COVID restrictions right before the season started ( after all tickets were sold).

Contact Jill Craft and ask her if You/LSU fans have a case. All she can do is tell you no.

It says right in the quote that they will refund you everything. Am I missing something here? Why would they let you keep your season tickets after? If you did this for any other reason the policy would be the same.

Yes but isn’t this pretty normal? Like if you asked for a refund for anything else they would do this. Why not just sell them? You will make your money back and some.

Well the TAF/Tradition Fund charges are essentially PSLs. If you don’t pay the PSL you lose the rights to the tickets. Doesn’t really matter why you didn’t pay the PSL.
