I am not talking about his comments specifically. I am talking about the negative culture in general.

Umm, in 2016? Every team they played except LSU and Kent State.

So O was supposed to have success, because his teams were bad. And Steve was supposed to be successful because he was going against a bad team, right. Like you, I once had to take a reading comprehension class.

I’d ask how the rant would know either. Of the past 10 years his playcalling during his interim stint was probably the best I’ve seen at LSU. But people here jerked off to Billy Gonzales, Gary Crowton, Cam Cameron, and Matt Canada before they did shite at LSU. They all left after failing to do anything worthy of praise but each were considered some offensive genius of his day by our fans on here.

How the Hell do Ranters know that Ensminger is a failure?

We don't know he will be a failure at LSU. We do know that he has not been hired as a full time OC in two decades. One can draw their own conclusions as to why that is.

We don't know he will be a failure at LSU, but thus far as a head coach he has been a failure. He has been a full time head coach for four seasons and has amassed a 19-29 career record which includes last season's 9-4. Even if you include his interim gigs, which only idiots do, he still is not above .500 as a head coach.

We know the above because it's public information that's widely available to anyone, even Athletic directors all Power 5 conference programs. Maybe not LSU's, but given none of the others hired these two in their current roles, probably everyone else.

I'm not negative about LSU...in general. I'm negative about Ed Orgeron...specifically. There's a BIG difference.

I was called a sunshine pumper and pollyanna for my entire time on this board...up until we hired our DL coach and his 10-25 record to replace Miles. Now I'm labeled negative because I'm unhappy about that move and most things which have transpired because of it.

Why do you ignore his record at USC, 6-2 overall,6-1 in conf. Why do you ignore his LSU record. It appears to me that he has better athletes to work with, and has achieved better success. So why just the Ole Miss results, seems like you are not utilizing all of the available facts. Why is that?

They don't.

I will go with Foster Moreau's opinion over some dude in Momma's basement playing on a computer.

Please tell us what you do for a living, apparently it looks like that's the only way you know something. Since you believe that, I don't think your opinions on football are valid either. And since you aren't a psychologist, I'm not sure I can trust your assessment that Foster Moreau has a legitimate well backed opinion. Since you don't know, you could be judging him incorrectly.

Negativity, cause that's what life means to me. A verse from one of Stevie Wonder songs. But of course he says "Positivity" but I changed it to describe you guys.

Have we really gone so far down the well that there are guys defending Moreau's ridiculously hyperbolic comment? For Christ sake...how is it even POSSIBLE that our TE's coach who has not held the job of a full time OC in twenty years is now the best play caller in the country?

It's an absurd statement on its face. It also begs the question that if true, why did Ensminger toil in relative obscurity for 2 decades wasting all that ability?

See...this is where we've come to. No one wants to take shots at EITHER Moreau or Ensminger. But, we're now at a point where we can't even chuckle at how stupid this line is without it becoming a fricking death match.

But hey...if you guys want to actually believe that football's greatest living play caller was our TE's coach up until Winter 2018, feel free I guess.

Foster Moreau- Good Team Leader-Good pass catcher-but one of the worse Run Blocking Tight Ends ever for LSU- Go back and focus on his play last year in every game. If he does not have someone to block right in front of him, he just stands around and waits for the play to end. Needs to be more aggressive in Searching and putting a hat on someone on blocking Play. Hope coaches have pointed that out and helped him with his blocking this year !!

He was offered OC jobs and other offensive positions but declined because he loves LSU and wanted to be home and close to the program. We won’t ever see loyalty like that again so imo he deserves mad respect.

I sincerely hope that there are a bunch of fans from other SEC teams, posing as LSU fans. Because it is shameful. And I consider it to be a slap in the face to all of the great athletes recruited to play at LSU. Now I know that you hate coach O, but the negativity is way over the top. You guys attack anything that is positive. Coach O had bad teams at Ole Miss, but you hold that against him. Steve Ensminger had success, but you say that those were bad teams. Gentleman you can't have it both ways.

I applaud your effort, but this is an ignorant comment. Especially the last part. It doesn't even make sense. Those two things aren't related at all. O sucked at Ole Miss, and as statistically proven, the defenses LSU did well against in 2016 also sucked. Those are actually facts and you can, in fact, have it both ways, gentlemen.

You must have skipped over a few posts. Because nvasili made the same comments as you. Go back and read about 13 posts before this posts. You guys hold O accountable even though his teams at Ole Miss were bad. Shouldn't you be expecting him to lose with bad teams. Just like you are saying the Steve was supposed to be successful going against bad teams. I am done with this, it is like talking to a wall when talking to you guys. Ignorant is the right word, and you said it.
