we’ve been about as consistent good and the. our peaks are better
it’s not like we’ve had a ton of lows either.
We just replaced 5 guys who hit double digit home runs in our lineup

There are some comparisons with DVH and Mark Richt. You know you’re going to compete for the top of the SEC almost every year and stay around the top 5-10 teams in the country often but can’t seem to quite get over the hump for one reason or another.
The facilities, fanbase and recruiting are all there though.

I found myself surprised looking at the trophy case that Arkansas only has 3 SEC Championships (only one not shared) and 1 SECT Championship under DVH. I really thought he accomplished more than that, but 20+ SEC wins only three times.

It’s really only since 2018 that DVH has taken it to another level. Before that Arkansas was a top 20 team most of the time but caught a few breaks to make it to the CWS several times after good but not great regular seasons.

We lost some elite players from last years team and we are loaded with a lot of young studs that just need experience. They will gain experience this season and the future is bright!

Yes, we have the rings, and I wouldn’t change that for shite! But I would take more consistency. Hopefully with Johnson we get that.

Because they do what is supposed to be done. Hiring Jay was a mistake. Last years title was most of pm's players and a lucky unicorn. Now your getting a more true picture of the west coast philosophy. Softness
