We're 9-3 right now and sitting at 13 in the CFP rankings. So, it's extremely realistic that a 10-2 team from the "New SEC" is in.

10-2 if we beat non conference teams in USC and UCLA, and our losses are in conference.

10-2 with loses to one of those might keep them out.

1-3. SEC #1-#3
4-6. BIG #1-#3
7. Big12 #1
8. ACC #1
9. G5 #1
10. Notre Dame (the real winner in a 12 team playoff)
11-12. Two teams from some combination of Big12 #2, ACC #2, SEC #4, BIG #4, and G5 #2.

A 3-loss SEC team has a real shot at making it. SOS, common opponents, etc. will come into play.

Those kinds of results got Les Miles fired, but we're gonna pay BK 10 million/year and be happy with it?

So you are bitching about the coach based off of a rant posters prediction of next years record?

A 2 loss team has never made the CFP

A 3 loss team will definitely make a 12-team playoff. Teams will beat up on each other with conference realignment.

It’s probably going to come down to the Oklahoma game as to whether they can make the 12.

After taking six conference champions they the next six from highest ranked. Not going to be that easy. You can have low ranked conference champions replace better teams. Hence, it’s not necessarily the 12 best teams.

Bama OU and Ole Miss are the only 3 teams I see as possible losses

USC in Vegas is absolutely a "possible" loss. A couple of other games on the schedule are as well. That said, I think 9-3 is likely, with 10-2 being the ceiling.

I think I did just fine predicting the season, you can clearly see the yearly delusion from the rant

When Dr Pepper done the new commercial about the first play of the year, this definitely where they done their research.

Say we shite the bed again against our stupid non-con opener against USC. I still think the schedule is pretty favorable for LSU going forward

Bama, OU, and Ole Miss are at home. Arky and A&M on the road will be tricky.

I think 10-2 is very manageable if you make the right moves in the portal and make the necessary changes on the defensive staff. Let’s make the playoff!

So we could not go 10-2 with a Heisman Trophy winner but we will with Nuss. Not a chance in hell !!

You’re clueless. It’s LSU, the ceiling on any given year is 15-0.

Look how many downvotes me saying us going 7-5 got.

7-5 is bullshite for LSU paying $100M to Brian Kelly

Ed O went 5-5 in that Covid year, then 6-6 the next year and was fired. He was one 3 point OT loss to Arkansas or 6 point loss to Bama from being 7-5.

Just making the 12 team playoff is a cop out on a resume. The goal should always be 12-0 or 11-1, SEC champs and have a first round bye.

Jayden win the Heisman? Not a chance in hell!

BK beat Bama and win the West in year one? Not a chance in hell!

Orgeron win a title at LSU? Not a chance in hell!

Burreaux win a Heisman at LSU? Not a chance in hell!
