He probably gets wrongly blamed for what one of his pitcher’s did or didn’t do when they were 14 years old.

I think this. Being his position coach may have been an issue with schools that would otherwise be interested.

Don’t know much about Yeskie, but I know something about Jay. He just won a championship here in year 2. He knows what he’s doing and that’s good enough for me. LFG

He has great ability as a pitching coach but the fact he supported a child molester leaves me questioning the hire.

He’s the pitching coach, the head coach and AD are making that decision, not him.

Did you ever think that maybe he's not interested in a small school job? Maybe he's waiting for a bigger school to come calling. Going to a small school is not exactly setting yourself up for success with resources in baseball.

Texags seems ok with it. Said their pitching sucked this year and he's not much of a recruiter

I think Jay was more hands on with is part anyway. Jordan is the recruiting coordinator anyway so that's not a big deal for him.

What do you want them to say? Big brother LSU just stole their coach

That said, their staff didn’t have a great year. I couldn’t care less about his recruiting abilities.

Jay knows him better than most, since Yeskie was on his staff at Arizona. If Jay wants him here, I'm all for it.

How is that being supportive? As the pitching coach, your bosses are the head coach and the AD. It's their decision on how to handle that.

Even if Aggie fans say he wasn’t that good anyway ?

I don’t know man. I’d trust Texags over baseball people like scouts, pro coaches, and the best college coaches

If anyone knows baseball it’s those folks at Texags

I considered it, yes. I also figured by now he wouldve been offered a bigger job.
Just a little surprising.

Maybe he’s respected for something else? Looks like below average ERAs follow him around. Coincidence?

What does this even mean?
