I get negative press when a coach leaves. The thing I don’t get is the love for Lincoln Riley when he is gutting his old program on the way out.

The media hate is BECAUSE he left ND, and he was the first coach to ever leave ND to take another job coaching another team, and the ND defenders still living in the 1980s need to protest.
The fact he left the prestigious ND to wade into the SEC is one thing, but the bigger sin is he left ND and went to the South—and even worse than that he was the first to leave ND to go to LSU BECAUSE we never had THAT HIRE before.
The non-stop news cycle certainly does not help, so we are left with a cheap level of “news” topics and childish opinion passed off as journalism.
