How is it possible?
He is a lifetime 250ish hitter w no speed and no power and limited range.
I wish no kid would get cut and don’t agree with it but it shouldn’t be real hard to see why.

Sorry to tell you dude, but almost all these players were SS on their high school team. Bain was great for us last year, but there is a reason he was not drafted in one of the 800 rounds of the MLB draft. He was not really good at one particular thing, but he did everything well enough....... See Chris Reid.

Correct. I think you assess the player and you commit to the player. Barring injury or other issue he is your player.

It's hard to see why.
They kept at least three players in the infield not as productive as he is at the plate. They tried two of them in the starting infield. The third quit the team.

But with more range and speed. Both can play the corners or middle.
Offensive production wasnt all that different
All w no gap power and bad averages.
