It's very clear that our future lies with Jennings and most likely Harris. I feel bad for Rettig of all. Bolden isn't all too great (still love for him to get some snaps) and I think Rivers could succeed else where. Just hate for Rettig to get zero PT over here.

I feel like Rettig's got a chance. Wait until spring camp next year and we'll see, REGARDLESS of who plays in the bowl.

I agree. Rettig was very excited to come to LSU. Hopefully he gets some action.

Bolden redshirted 2012, so he'll be a SR in 2014 if he stays.

lsusports.net says he's a RS Jr...doesn't matter anyway...he's not playing. Not sure why he's even on the roster.

Don't count out Rettig yet, but I do feel like Jennings and Harris are our future QBs barring any significant injuries.

Last I checked Bolden is a RsJr. Still a hell of an individual.

Because Miles will never go through the Hatch, JJ/JL thing again.

And I think Rettig gets a shot. Kid has a cannon, hell get his shot eventually.

Rettig has a chance to be Matt Flynn and start as a RS SR

Why? He knew he was entering big boy world. He has four years to get ready for his last year, and it would make sense for him to be the backup next year with Harris being redshirted. He has all the time in the world to get a shot.

I do not, but I couldn't sit on a team for so many years with zero PT. His stats weren't too great at PSU, but he was still playing. Takes a man to swallow that kind of pride.

Regarding Rettig, I remember the two knocks against him being:

1.) He had not really played under center in the past, needed to acclimate there.

2.) Needed to make some strength/size improvements.

However, Miles did give him big kudos in his improvement in strength/conditioning and he has had a year to practice under center, so he may have a future ahead. Tough competition, but he may have a solid shot his senior year.

Nice to have a perceived wealth at QB

i do see if jennings falls from being able to move the team in the bowl game, i think that steven rivers comes in to the game, plain and simple. but as for next year, i think that its going to be a three man race jennings, rivers, rettig. harris is going to get redshirted because he's just not ready physically and knowledge wise. bolden is the veteran who basically not going to get to play.

He knew the risks when he signed. You never know when an injury will happen and his number gets called. I hope he sticks around.
