So do we just assume Jayden is starting the bowl game until told otherwise?

I guess it doesn’t hurt to have Wisconsin prep for both QBs. Wonder who they’re using to scout as Jayden.

Wouldn’t be very nice if he announces on Xmas he won’t be playing

At this point he seems to at least be making the trip otherwise he would have said something by now
School has been out for a week

How much he plays will be the question

You can assume but I would not bet on it as his mind is all over the U.S. with appearances and will be focused on training for combine work outs.

Would be better to let Nuss watch film and practice and probably play.

But Nabers might change JD's mind.

Well yeah. Now that that’s out of the way, do you need help thinking about anything else?

Why would anyone assume otherwise?

He didn't practice last week. Several practices will be open to the media this week. If he's not practicing this week, I would assume he is not playing.

My guess is that if he plays, he'll get Nabers the receiving record and then turn it over to Nuss.

I have no insiders and my brothers sisters uncle doesnt know anything either.

ETA: Nabers only needs 22 yards to break the record, thats why I think that. One pass could do it.

I predict he dresses out and maybe plays a few plays, and then dips out for Nuss.

Then he can say he didn't opt out.

Whatever he decides to do, full support for JD. He’s done everything and more that he’s been asked to do, however I’d love to see him play in P&G one more time

I kinda want him to opt out so my friends that lost their shite that he was gonna play again in 2023 can lose their shite that he’s NOT gonna play in the bowl game

I agree with this. It makes too much sense for him not to play. Stay healthy and prepare for the combine. This gives Nuss much needed practice with the first team in prep for both the bowl and next year. Also if I am Kelly I am not telling anyone he is opting out until I have to. Keep Wisconsin guessing.

Nuss can help Nabors with the record.

Other than injury the main reason guys opted out was to be able to have contact with agents and start getting advances on future earnings. Since he doesn't really need the money between now and the bowl game he could easily play a couple of series to get Nabors the record.

I doubt many guys are really doing serious draft prep in these few weeks.

That won't likely be his reason for playing. Nuss can get the record for Nabers. Daniels is 188 yards shy of 4,000 passing yards for the season. He is 54 yards short of 5,000 total yards. Those are likely targets.
