So in your opinion LSU is the best and can beat anyone, why you worried about seeding?

The problem for LSUWBB is that the SEC teams we are beating are NOT highly regarded, ranked, or have a high NET.

Yet the SEC is projected to have 8 or 9 teams make the NCAA Tournament right now. But we're playing nobody

SEC will most likely get 7 teams in.

Conferences/teams with top 25 NET rankings...

SEC 2 teams (We have 5 teams between #30 and #45.)
PAC12 7 teams
Big10 4 teams
ACC 5 teams

This is the EXACT same scenario as last year. All season long they talked about how the SEC was "down". They then proceeded to get four teams in the sweet sixteen, two in the final four, and then the eventual champion.

The SEC teams play hard on the defensive end. When Ole Miss took down #1 seed Stanford on their home floor last season Stanford wasn't used to the defensive pressure.

I get what you are saying, but honestly the SEC beyond LSU and SC is a bunch of "meh". And I wouldn't be shocked if the number actually ends up being 6 or 7 instead of 8/9.

--Vandy has 20 wins, but their NET is 57
--Arkansas is out. Their NET is 65 and they are free-falling.
--Mississippi State has lost 4 in a row and their NET is 41
--Auburn has a NET of 46
--Even 3rd place Ole Miss has a 45 NET.
--Texas A&M has a 39 NET and is struggling without their point guard.
--Tennessee's NET is 37 and needing wins, they still have SC left on the schedule. Nobody really thinks they will leave Tennessee out, right>?

Because no matter how good you are everyone wants the most favorable path to a final four if possible.

But I think if LSU continues to take care of business they will end up being a 3 seed by tournament time

All of this is true, but at some point some of these humans on the committee have to actually watch games and not rely solely on metrics.

It’s cute you think those people watch the games.
