I've got no beef with Iowa fans. They supported their team well and with the Kinnick Wave, they created one of the best college football traditions from any time frame. I'll just enjoy today's win and leave it at that.

I sure hope this is sarcasm. I was at the game and surrounded by Iowa fans. The were insufferable. I truly think their fans just aren’t very knowledgeable about basketball or it’s rules. I kept pointing out to the sitting next to me every time Clark would shove off her defender to create space to shoot. I kept telling her that those were offensive fouls and she should have fouled out of game in first half.

I would take Clark in a minute, outstanding player but I knew it was ours after the South Carolina game. Mulkey saw how not to play her and she used a lot of energy and to USCs credit they banged them as much as they could in a very physical game

Hell I can’t understand Iowa accent (also I can’t understand British people at all). But Yankees enunciate and talk like old people from the 1930’s.

Uhhh, you realize Louisiana is just as bad?
Louisiana is 7th and Iowa is the 41st most subsidized state
This does not include direct subsidies such as farm subsidies.
Iowa gets 41 billion and Louisiana gets 8 billion in farm subsidies
This graph shows Louisiana getting 23 billion dollars more than Iowa in federal funding
Iowa get 33 billion more in farm subsidies. Louisiana has 4.5 million residents and Iowa has 3.2 million. But if you are counting farm subsidies you need to count oil and gas subsidies and tax breaks to oil companies doing business in Louisiana.
It’s complex. If I had to guess I’d guess that Louisiana is the higher subsidized state.

I hate a British accent. Sounds like they are talking with a bunch of marbles in their mouths. It is grating to hear for long periods of time.
