Lol, he’s framing was responsible for 5 strikeouts tonight.

And unlike the Arkansas catcher, he didn’t look like a Parkinson’s patient tweaking on meth every time he framed a pitch.

Thanks for the PBP Cheer.

Team looked improved today, and despite making it closer than it should have been, battled and made the plays when it counted most. Hopefully that is a good omen of things to come and they start making the plays when they need to in order to win games. Holding on for the win tonight can go a long way for the team's confidence.

This team is a couple of things going their way in the last 2 weekends from coming into this series 5-4 in the SEC with series wins vs UF and @ Arky.

Dropped 3rd strike vs UF
Timely hits in the 2nd Arkansas game (the first as well but that one is moot)
Tommy White's HR being called fair

My only concern was how Holman started to falter in the 5th yet nothing was done until the 6th which another 2 runs were added after he was replaced (probably due to momentum).

Seems like all of our starters minimum get 4 inning maybe 5 but they done. For some reason the wheels fall off after that. This has happened every SEC game.

We won't be scoring 10 every game so that's why I have that concern.

Dude, that inning was NOT on Holman - see Bras'Not so'well.

It's not about innings, it's about pitch count. Holman was at 97 pitches when he was pulled.

Right now, we have a bunch of high strike out guys that, unlike Paul Skenes, are not getting as many 3 and 4 pitch strikeouts. They're more reminiscent of Ty Floyd where they're great for 80 pitches, then start to falter. We're still early in the season though, and stamina will steadily start to increase as the season goes on.

To be fair, those 2 runs in the 6th were unearned. If not for the error at SS the inning is over with 1 hit and no runs.

That 3 run HR came with 2 outs, 2 strikes & the 9th hole hitter at the plate. That wasn't on Braswell.

Game#2 is Friday and Game#3 is Saturday. Using Thur/Fri/Sat like last week due to Easter. This week, why? Next week they resume Fri/SatSun series.

Hell yeah, brother! Individualism is killing this team! Like Skenes last year with them knee high pants and stirrups?! What a joke that dude was.

Damn I forgot the series started on Thursday and didn’t know it happened until I saw this thread this morning. at least I found the new secret gameplan to help my tigers find success: Don’t watch.

I’ll be busy driving tonight anyway. Tigers gonna win the series tonight
