LSU is a different team with Skenes on the mound. If they can't hit a depleted bullpen what makes them think they can hit the best player in the country who has command on 100 mph+ pitches.

At this point I’m not even sure Jay starts with Skenes, make them prove they can hit literally anyone else.

Apparently their Analytics students fricked them, and gave LSU coaches an edge:

Are you one of these geniuses that think Johnson called a steal of home rather than what it was - Merrifield making a decision to try and steal a run when the OTHER TEAM tried a pick off at first.
