Strange autocorrect there.

The real question is what the hell have you been doing to have weekend autocorrect to weenie d?

I’m sure Jay Johnson gives 2 fricks about his 5 year projection; give me a break.

He has alot.of development to go. He couldn't find the plate early. I think he threw 11 straight balls at one point or something along those lines

Still believe that this is a deeper staff than last year. Have no clue how to fix or bandaid it but nothing happened to him, he’s a freshman. Keep giving him playing time and let him get comfortable.

Cam is more lower to mid 90's. They may have told him to dial it back to make sure he gets it over the plate.

At this point he and Moffett are about what and what. Johnson maybe slightly better control. His pitching motion is all over the place. Needs a lot of refining.

Maybe in your mind.

The kid is a true freshman throwing in the toughest conference in the country. You have to give him time to catch up to the game.

GA,

Relax. Lanky pitchers stereotypically have the hardest time with consistency. Which is what Cam needs. Those long arms and legs have to become repetitive and timed up together. The long the appendages, the more room for error.

When it clicks for him, watch out. He will be as good as anyone in the country.

He needs to gain a healthy amount of command prior to him being a weekend starter.

He’s come in and flashed some utter dominance at times though.

Even in my limited knowledge of baseball, I know that his first year does not mean shite.

This is a good point. To have the command it takes to pitch at this level, you have to be able to repeat your mechanics. And the bigger you are and the more you have going on, the harder it is. Partly why you don’t see a whole lot of really tall golfers.
