He's leaving because he knows Nuss is not the guy...7-5 next year. Average QB with a shite defense

I'm not digging in, but have heard nothing to the contrary. Perhaps you're enlightened otherwise. But isn't this the time of year coaches are moving around, as evidenced by our own OC taking a lateral move to ND?

Because the contract was done but the Board of Supervisors weren’t able to finalize it in their last meeting.

So naturally instead of having a special session to fast track it, they decided to wait until their next regular meeting in February and ended up screwing the pooch.

All of this.

It’s also a failure at leadership for the board.

Not necessarily for staff changes. Many head coaches will wait until at least ESD and sometimes after the bowls if their team is in one. Most people expected Saban to move on from his OC and DC last year. He did, and it all went down in January well after everything was over, and they weren’t even in the playoffs last year.

I don’t claim to know anything except that Kelly doesn’t usually stick with staff when it isn’t working. He demoted Denbrock, who he seems to have a strong personal relationship with, at Cinci and basically pushed him out several years ago. He fired Brian VanGorder at ND, who he was very close with. He demoted Polian, also a guy who was close to him, after just one year of struggles here on special teams. Im curious- what in Kelly’s history makes you think he would hold onto House? Or is this just impatience?

Just because nothing has happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t. I think we’ve seen Kelly be very methodical and do things on his timeline, no matter what the fans and media think. All of the resignation and complaints just seem ridiculous when we don’t know what’s going to happen. It’s just fans wanting it all RIGHT NOW.

How would you feel if LSU hired the number one offensive coordinator in the country away from a team. You feel real good. Now face the facts we are the team that lost the guy

It's not a good thing to lose them to lateral schools that you're consistently in competition with and compared to. This isn't a good look for LSU.

Losing your coordinators to the NFL or a team above you is a good look.

Guys sometimes make lateral or even backwards moves because of “home” or connections often enough. Look at Cristobal. He had a solid start at Oregon and was recruiting well and left for Miami, a school that hasn’t had half as much success over the last 20 years. He walked away from all that Nike money to go back where he played.

If Denbrock left to go to A&M or a random school outside the SEC, it would seem pretty strange. But he’s from the Midwest and has coached at ND twice. It’s not like those connections had nothing to do with this.
