Makes absolutely no sense.
actually, it does...

He said on WWL yesterday that he was going to Miss. Gulf Coast CC. He is adamant about continuing his career as a starting QB and ruled out a change of positions.
He's got prototype build for Clemson's offense. His plan might be to play a year at juco to establish he CAN play, and then move over Clemson with 3 yrs eligibility remaining.

Alabama's a ruse, IMO

Sitting on Clemson’s bench is much more satisfying than sitting on LSU’s

What? Like as in pictures in books looking at them? Cause he damn sure will never play for either of those teams.

By that time he would have been a RS JR at LSU and competing with Brennan who would be a SR more than likely. WORST case situation would have LN starting his RS senior year. Absolute worst case.
uh, we'll have other QB recruits coming in. It's not just Narcisse and Brennan two years from now - there will be others.

It's constant competition at QB. I don't blame a guy for finding a place where he's got a better shot at starting. This happens all over the country.

I could see Florida, but never could see Alabama. He’d still be sitting even after his juco year. And Alabama has two QBs coming in at the same time who along with him would all be sitting at least a season. Idk, maybe he’d feel his has an edge but at best he wouldn’t start until at least a RS Soph season. That fan base is sick of quarterbacks who can’t be accurate so he’d have to really improve his accuracy.

I don’t know about Clemson other than they just recently had a 5 star qb, possibly #1? Transfer out..

Competition must be strong or something else?

Like Glen Guillbeau(sp) said, if you can't start at LSU, a school that has sucked at QB for 10 years then you aren't starting at another major University that consistently has good QB play.

It might well be. Have a coach with a proven track record, and runs an offense seemingly in line with his skill set.

If Burrow does well here, the pro-style will be set, and Brennan is the clear successor; and then you're looking at the next pro-style recruit to take over. shite out of luck for Narcisse.
If the offense bombs to the point he takes over here, it's a good chance you're going to see another coordinator next year, and have to do it all over again.

Like I said, his likely plan is to go shake off the rust at a juco, and then find the best fit for his 3 remaining years. Go to a place where they wouldn't have to change the scheme to play you, and that wins.

Don’t count out MS State. Fitzgerald is a senior. They have a capable backup but might be a nice fit for him. Auburn is the more likely choice. The backups at Auburn are terrible and he would probably be an upgrade over the two they have currently.

Clemson is going to start a true freshman Trevor Lawrence that is supposed to be "all world". Like every quarterback on their roster transferred out when this guys showed up. So, LN is gonna go to Clemson and sit for 2 years so that he might play 1 season? Could have done that here.

Agreed. But he has a lot of family members/friends in here that obviously are pretty clueless themselves. Last people in the world he should be listening to. That's the problem with recruiting these days, all the sucking up makes these kids think they are better than what they actually are.

Actually, heard this said before Hester said it yesterday, there was a real issue with locker room divide, especially with jm. This all most likely worked out for the best for the program.

So we are only 1 deep at QB. That doesn't concern you? This team is better with LN on it.

So are most of the other teams in the SEC. Name another team outside of Bama and GA that has a quality backup that could come in and keep the offense rolling.
