I started a thread that got anchored yesterday saying that Lowell’s cousin is the fedex driver for my company. He said that Lowell is looking at Alabama and Clemson

But are they looking at him?

He’d be lethal at auburn or Florida

I could see Florida because it appears they don't have shite at QB but Auburn has Stidham, plus commitments from Bo Nix (#1 dual threat in the country) and Cord Sandberg coming in.
So he would be in a much worse situation at Auburn.

Auhburn QB situation is way tougher and forget about Bama and Clemson, no shot.
he won't end up at an SEC school. If it's not a Group of 5 school, it'll be a lesser Power 5 school. He'll have to go somewhere where he has a very good chance to start, and Auburn, Clemson, Bama ain't that.

Doesn't Florida have a good freshman DT QB?

If I were him I'd go JUCO a year and then narrow it down to the following

Florida
TCU
Oregon
Maryland (just bc of the Canada connection)
Auburn

Emory Jones is a freshman, #5 DT QB in the country. And Felipe Franks is a Sophomore. If he goes to Florida, he will have competition.

to the people saying Clemson or Alabama, you seriously those to are going to spend a scholly on a player who was 4th string at LSU?

He may be interested in those schools but doesn't mean they are interested in him.

But it may just be that he would rather be a starter anywhere rather than ride the pine waiting for his time at a bigger school. So really this is a benefit to both LSU and to Narcisse in the long run. McMillon leaving though does hurt LSU for this coming season because he would have been a solid backup and we could have redshirted Brennon (and maybe we still can)

He's got the prototype build for ANY offense. He just isn't a good QB.

How is it possible that he had a bad spring game? He threw for 500 yards a game and 6 tds a game in juco. The rant said lsu was stupid for letting him go he was a future superstar.

Nobody should expect him to "step right" in as a starter.

You should have told this to Lowell last week.

Some people will never get how important accuracy is as a d1 QB.

If the kid seriously thinks Alabama is a possible landing spot, Alleva should subpeona the phone records.

Lil Nicky clearly tampered with Lowell to hurt LSU's depth this season. That's the only explanation.

Hahahaha, sigh, Hahahaha...laugh a little more...

He was third/fourth string here, left because he couldn't get any playing time.

Not even Florida brother unless they don't pull anyone this year.

This is a solid post. The problem with the transfer route for LN is that he has to absolutely tear up the JUCO ranks to get a shot at another major program. In effect, he is now competing with 2019 High School seniors and most big programs already have their top QB targets identified or even committed. The perception of the QB situation at LSU won’t help - and by all accounts he was buried in the dept chart.

This is not the same as Burrow leaving OSU, which already had a starter and depth. He will have to go somewhere and prove he is worth offering by a major school. I wish him well.

This is a dumb post. He's a former 4 star recruit. The moment he steps on to a JUCO campus, hes the #1 juco qb in the country before taking a snap. He doesnt even need to be the starter. Bama offered savion smith last year b4 for the 1st game of the juco season.

Stidham was the #1 juco qb in the country at a juco that didnt have a football team. THE ONLY real benefit of JUCO for LN is that it allows him to go back to the SEC. Currently his release would prevent him from returning to the SEC.

JUCO allows him to get a little experience. He doesnt need to throw for a million yards.

As he found out. His star rating doesn't matter when he steps on campus. You are comparing him to a highly touted db and a top QB. I'm afraid you are going to be disappointed.

[quote]Auburn, and he's going to make us pay.[/quote

0% chance. Next year he will find a school that will guarantee him QB1. No way this guy goes somewhere he has to compete for the job.

In retrospect it would have been better for LSU if we lost that recruiting battle to AU, he could have went to AU, not start, transfer to JUCO and then come to LSU ready to roll.
