Fitting end to the game. 2 on, no outs and 3 straight groundouts to end it. We have now lost 8 of the last 9. Espada and co. can frick off

Big dog they don’t compete idk what to tell you. I’m the biggest homer here, a flip switched in the opposite direction for them and they’ve gotten so much worse it’s hard to even fathom.
They are 30 games in and haven’t started to hit in the clutch. The die is cast with this team they just stink

Exactly. We've had slumps like this before too. You are just panicking more because it's the beginning of the year

I guess on the bright side, we have played the worst possible baseball imaginable and we are only 6.5 games out. No one in the division has shown the ability to pull away.
If we don’t look better after this weekend against the ROCKIES, something needs to change to fire this team up. Roll a head or two.

I mean maybe.
There’s probably a good stretch of play in there somewhere and the rest of the division sucks so theoretically they are alive but there’s been not a glimmer of anything that says they are capable of playing a stretch of 15-5 baseball over 20 games. AND that’s going to have to happen within the next month and a half
And I’m not really panicking. My eyes and the numbers are telling me what this team is. Hopefully it changes but very unlikely

Yep. After great (for a change ) ABs by Yed and Tucker, Neris having control issues. Yainer comes out hacking. Saw one pitch in the zone before flailing at a pitch a foot low. Peña hacks at the first pitch. Singleton gets up 2-0…at his level, he should have watched at least a strike…nope. Game over.
