College coaches get paid millions by the university, their job is to have them produce in college
Yet coaches claim & fans delusionally believe that they "prepare them for the next level" when they actually recruit the best tap dancing athletes that money can buy.

Just miss us with the bullshite about how you " develop" pros & " get them ready for the next level".

Ive now watched 4 games of Williams, Daniels, Maye & Penix, felt 2 best games I’ve seen are Daniels vs Miss St/ Penix vs Oregon in terms of playing QB more down the field (not quicks & screens), outside of that it’s been very average IMO, so tell me games I’m missing for those 4?

To clarify, they have ALL made some great plays in one way or another, I’m simply talking making good decisions & on-time throws down the field on a consistent basis…

Response to a question about JJ McCarthy

I like some things (just started watching) but feel like he “over throws” (meaning throws them too hard) too many passes & it creates a hit or miss resume (meaning there is little room for error that comes from having touch & allowing WRs to make subtle adjustments)… that’s my early assessment!

Elite at everything; seriously? He was good comparsd to college QB's, but his game is not yet ready for the NFL. Being a full time QB will help, but he isn't going to run away from NFL defenders.

So lsu had the most productive offense in all of college football, but they didn’t develop the qb as great as they could for the nfl” It’s a laughable concept

Yeah all of those Oklahoma and Oregon quarterbacks of the last 25ish years really lit up the NFL after lighting it up in college.

He was very on point, you are just too stubborn to see it.

There are 134 FBS schools and Warner is disappointed in the QB play? There are not even enough good QBs for each NFL team to have one and he things there should be dozens of them in college?

You almost got there.

Why do you think there aren’t enough good QBs in the NFL? Where do NFL QBs come from?

At all levels. It's a huge issue. The NFL is struggling mightily with Oline play. It's why the product has suffered, IMO

I’m sure that’s part of it, but how many guys are coached on both the O Line and QB to do what these pro coaches need them to do? It’s completely different systems and rules. I wish gameplay rules were both the same and in college. Some examples:
Why are the hashes different widths?
Why are college lineman allowed 3 yards downfield while pro’s 1 yard?

These make massive differences in what’s required.

Bring back steroids and this gets fixed.

Increase the allowed amount of contact time in practice and rearrange the cap structure to allow for more veteran players.

Right now, people are paying qb’s so much that they have to churn over the roster with younger/cheaper players to make the cap work. This destroys continuity and dramatically hurts teams overall.

When was the last time a team returned the same starting 5 OL for 3 years in a row?

He’s saying nix was most impressive yet complained about lack of pro concepts of the others? Seriously? Captain bubble screen?

The guy had the lowest air yards per target of all the top qb’s by a long shot.

I don’t want to get in this pissin’ contest…but funny that you would mention Wade Richey.

He was present and a speaker yesterday at the Cajun Kicking Camp at ULL run by Stevie Artigue.

One of the points missing here is how well college coaches have innovated to improve QB play. I don’t love HUNH, line up in a formation, look to the sideline and the coaches signal in a play based on D alignment, QB then knows most of the time where the ball should be going pre-snap. However as a coach their job is to score points and win games.

In the NFL seems less likely to change their approach based on the talent available.
