TD has always been like that. It’s a bunch of fat angry men who view all women as evil

How is anything I said about how busy her business life is misogynistic? Quite the opposite IMO. One would think portraying her as some lonely stay at home mom with a dad/husband who’s always working, leaving her to take care of the kids alone, would paint her in a pretty archaic misogynistic light but to each his own.

Me talking about childcare is a reflection of how busy a work from home mom actually is, not an indictment of Giselle. Good lord

Ok. I don’t care enough about this to die on any hill related to it, but there seems to be some weird misogyny in this thread and others like it. Some strange subconscious dislike of women. I’m just playing devil’s advocate. What if they had an agreement—as partners—that he reneged on? What if she has legit concerns about CTE and other cumulative physical damage a 20+ NFL career can have on a man the older he gets. Who knows.

That's exactly what I came to post. They could have had retirement plans and he went against those. I understand people could say well it's still something he loves and he changed his mind. However, I can see both sides here. I understand if he said one thing and did another and now she's frustrated.

I also agree that ultimatums aren't good for the future of a relationship.

And they could be having marital problems that have absolutely zero to do with him playing or not playing football. There’s no seeing sides when you have no idea what the problem or conflict actually is.

I do think that part was directed at you, just at the general tone of the posts in this thread.

There’s a lot of that on this board in general.

Certainly a lot of people have takes on this matter with weirdly skewed visions of what relationships look like.

However I also think it’s weird for us, the general public, to be given the play by play of a marital dispute. I’d think these two would want their privacy regarding this matter.

Good point, but it begs the question, how did this get out in the first place? This should have been a conversation between the two of them, possibly a marriage counselor. Maybe lawyers.

No one should have shared this. Yet, here we are.

Meanwhile you have continually gotten everything wrong in this thread

Add it to the list

She wanted it to be public.

She married a man who defines himself by his profession. Those guys (especially athletes) always seem to keep playing until they just can't play

There’s that toxic femininity rearing it’s ugly head. A woman’s favorite thing to do is take away things her man loves

rumor was, even up to last year, that she doesnt want a husband who's a drooling fetterman. He's had a bunch of concussions, and she's even said he's had brain issues in past from the hits.

A Covidian means someone who thinks all politicians who enacted restrictions and lockdowns should be locked up?

A covidian believes we should have never changed anything about societal life? Weird, I thought it was the opposite

This year he's proving that he can't carry a franchise. Is he actively hurting his "number 1 all time walks on water best quarterback there ever was or ever will be" sash that some want to bestow on him?
