This year he's proving that he can't carry a franchise. Is he actively hurting his "number 1 all time walks on water best quarterback there ever was or ever will be" sash that some want to bestow on him?
He’s 45 years old

How bad of a blow do the last 12 months have on Bradys legacy? He retires, realizes that no one likes him so he wont get the post football life he thought, then he throws his family away to go 3-5

You don’t become Tom Brady by quitting mid-year. He’s not built that way. They are wired differently. I think that gets lost

The Bucs being terrible with Tom Brady is so much more fun to watch than the Bucs being terrible without him.

You think he cares? Only an alpha does what Brady has done for the last 2 decades.
Brady doesn't give a shite what you, me, or anyone else thinks. When he calls it quits, he'll do whatever the heck he wants, and he'll be successful at whatever that is.

I thought she had already moved on with Antonio Bryant?

So it’s pretty much confirmed that she leaked the retiring news to Schefter, right?

I don't get women like these, they married a football player and is surprise when they want to play football? Like wtf seriously?

You are right, and wrong.
Yes, being married to a guy like Brady you have to expect him to focus on his career.
But at the same time no one can realistically expect a guy to play pro ball for 23 years or whatever it is now.
He has all of the accolades and championships anyone can ever want. What is the point? The more he plays the more likely he is a hit away from paralysis.

I just think it's selfish of her to force his retirement. His body is only going to let him play for so long before his skills significantly diminish and he's forced to retire anyway. Why not let him continue to play until that happens.
Most people can't retire until their 60's or 70's. He's in a profession that will allow him to retire in his 40's. Appreciate that and let the man play out his career as long as he can.

Because she doesnt want a potato for a husband? Why does she have to give up her career for an extended period of time and he doesnt?
I would get it if Brady was a guy looking for that last chance at a championship. But he is seemly playing just to avoid his family. That wouldnt sit well with many.

I would take anything that guy says with a grain of salt. He's trolling for reactions. It's his "thing" apparently

What? Surely not him doing announcing. The guy is boring as a wet newspaper.

Defenders are hardly allowed to touch the guy. He’s not going to get his head bashed in or anything.
