Back in 2004 or 2005. Tim Kirkjian said it was the the craziest stat he had ever seen in baseball. For the month of Aprill Barry Bonds has more home runs then swinging strikes. Let that sink in.

Wayne Gretzky has more career assists than the guy in 2nd place for all time points has goals+assists. That one always blows my mind.

And this isn't a stat but more so just an interesting situation. The 1899 Sewanee football team played 5 games in 6 days with just 13 players, all on the road, and notched shutout victories over Texas, Texas A&M, Tulane, LSU, adn Ole Miss. On the season they went 12-0 and didn't give up a single point.

One more. Tiger Woods is the only player to have won the US Junior Amateur, the US Amateur, and the US Open. He won each event three times.
