New Orleans is a Saints town and they have always done a good job supporting them. It’s too small for more than 1 team though.

Uhhh…you responded to me and I responded back. It’s a message board. This usually happens.

Uhhh, in that case change your rag and realize I’m defending NOLA as a good sports town, especially with the Saints.

Your response to my post was defending Nola as a good sports town? You didn’t mention anything about it.

Change my rag? ok pal.

I only responded to your response and you said you didn’t know what my deal is. You seem a little sensitive to discussion.

There's no such thing as a bad sports town, just bad ownership.

The Chargers finish in the top half of NFL attendance too, because fans of opposing teams in town buy the tickets to see the team they want to root for or fans go to take a trip to LA along with seeing thei

people aren't doing that for the angels

The Angel's aren't really L.A. though. They're mostly supported by the OC and Inland Empire.

Chicago really didn't support the Blackhawks well for decades prior to their run in the 2010s

Because they couldn't watch the games.

Leave it to you to make me defend the f'n Blackhawks supporters.

Same with the Sox to an extent in the 80s after Reinsdorf moved most TV games to a paid subscription model. Before then, they outdrew the Cubs in the late 70s.

Good attendance figures for bad products are a stupid badge of honor for fanbases anyway IMO.

Jerry Reinsdorf is the worst. Ruined the Bulls dynasty too soon.

Look at it this way… he didn’t allow them to suffer a playoff series loss that would tarnish MJ’s legacy… he let them all go out on top like they deserved

"Atlanta" is a sports town. Something New Orleans crave to be like one day. Considering that New Orleans economy focuses only on their stupid shitty Bourbon street tourism - it will never be the city it begs to be
