Wow, didn't realize that was him.

Not going to lie, the final season of Barry has been better than the final season of Succession. This show is so good.

I know he's pretty mentally unstable right now, but I'm surprised Barry was so dumb with his phone call to Hank. Asking for a hit on a line that he knows is being recorded and then thinking the feds are actually working to get Sally out as well. Slight out of character with him but it's pretty easy to write it off as him being in a seriously bad mental space right now.

Also, I've started to dislike Gene. The scene with them breaking in the house was just stupid. They throw a brick through the house and stumble around tearing stuff up all in there and all it takes to make it not a big deal is Gene putting his arm around the woman and saying a few words.

Anyone have a link to the Los Amigos Gadget podcast? That whole exchange was amazing and had me cracking up.

I'm blown away by how skilled Bill Hader is as a director. Everything about the cinematography and the way the camera pans throughout the scenes this season is excellent.

Even right before the Fred Armisen reveal, you can just see the top of his head where you're like "who the frick is that back there?"

And then the look on Fred's face

Jim Moss hosing out the inside of his car trunk when Gene walked up. I couldn't stop laughing at that.

The writing is impeccable. The humor on this show is so smart and subtle.

This show is so incredibly well done. Too many golden moments in the episode, but my personal favorite was Gene and Tom riding in the car after the meeting with the attorney/FBI agent

Gene: "I have to ask you something Tom. Hypothetically, if i invited a reporter to my theater..."

cuts to the car driving away from the rear and all of a sudden smacks directly and purposely into a parked car

Tom:"WHAT THE frick IS WRONG WITH YOU" with the airbags deployed and everything
Gene "i dont know"

i rewinded that part maybe 10 times. Was pissing myself laughing
