The part with Buff Bagwell bent over naked while Judy held his dick and shaved his balls was one of the most horrific things I've ever seen

I'm too young to remember Harley Race, but based on some podcasts I've listened to with Flair and Hogan, they act like Harley was one of the toughest men they every knew. I'm looking forward to tonight's episode, last week with Brutus wasn't very good IMO, his wife wanted to take center stage.

Shot his dad and had his mom shave his balls. What a family!

I've found myself a lot less interested in the episodes this season for some reason. I love the show, but have skipped most of the news so far. Same for the Rivalries show.

Longer the show goes, the fewer stories worth telling they have to tell. At least that people are still alive for.

Most guys from the mid 80s and before are now dead, as the WWF from that timeframe has a huge body count due to the lifestyles of people in it.

Drugs, body parts being replaced, wear from being on the road, etc.

Hell, look at the card from Wrestlemania 1.

Most guys on the card not named Hogan are dead, including the special guests like Muhammed Ali, Billy Martin, Liberace, etc.

Piper, Orndorff, King Kong Bundy, Iron Sheik, SD Jones, Matt Borne, etc.

I thought the John Tenta episode was good but different from their usual formula. He seemed like a nice guy, no arrests or drug issues, just died early. I think they'll run out of dark stories and have to do more like that but I don't really mind.

That is the ep I have actually watched so far. He was one of those guys that everyone generally loved and didn’t have any bad habits, either attitude wise or drug wise.

A story they could do would be Buddy Landell, who was a guy people loved but who was immature as hell and had a lot of drug issues.

Harley Race was the old dude on Mid South Wrestling back in the early 80’s. Just thought he was your standard white no name at the time.

Yeah, I thought my family was dysfunctional until I saw that episode.

Hadn’t heard that name in a long time. Never realized he went down a dark road, but damn……

He wrestled in central states. He wasn't in MidSouth unless he was NWA champion and defended there.

I guess it depends on the road he was on, but if he had the time to call his wife and tell her he was about to have a seizure, couldn't he have pulled over to the shoulder or gotten off the road and avoided said crash?

Next week is on Chris Colt, who a lot of you have probably never heard of; a real character in and out of the ring. Saw him in the Southeastern promotion in Alabama in the early 80-mid 80s.

This is my issue as well with the show. I really only care about wrestlers that I knew growing up. Obscure wrestling stories, while interesting maybe, don't really reel me in to want to watch.

I did watch the John Tenta one and it was decent.

I watched the Superstars episode on DDP last night actually, and enjoyed that one. I was never a huge DDP fan, but he seems like someone that I will personally root for in life now. Just seems like a good dude.

I'm kind of the opposite but I think that's more because when I did really follow it growing up, I could never get enough of it, so the bigger Benoit and Montreal Screwjob and New Jack and Pillman episodes, while interesting, didn't do much because I had already known pretty much everything on them.

I'm a little surprised they haven't done an episode on Haku yet with all the stories out there on him and I'm sure there's more urban legends as well. I mean the Tenta episode wasn't "Dark" outside of him passing away early, so I guess they're starting to stretch for material that doesn't show the awful side of it so why not give one to Haku. Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude could both get one as well

They’ve been going for shock value in the later seasons but there are plenty of interesting stories they could be telling instead.
