I hate it so much. But I continue to watch.

1. The dialogue is the most atrocious I can ever remember

2. The actors themselves are not very good at expressing any semblance of a relevant emotion.

3. The situations are insanely inane. The lazy conveniences these fricks took with the story is incredible.

The Walking Dead beautifully takes a situation and hashes is out from multiple character perspectives, through numerous conversations and sub-build up situations over the course of many episodes or even the entire season. The how we got from point a to point b in the plot is so carefully produced and presented.

It's astounding to me that in FearTWD we just kind of fall into point B of every single situation presented to the characters in a matter of no time with no relevant development whatsoever.

It's just pure lazy dog shite TV. I guarantee any random TWD fan could showrun FTWD so much better than what they're doing to it.

I'll keep hate watching though

My family gave up a few episodes ago. I'm trying to ride it out still I really think they blew it. They should have really focused on how it all went down - a slow take on the very early stages would have been a great watch
Exactly!

Granted they're on a boat, but we're already at the point where it's just like the original, they're just on the run from zombies and bad guys.

They coulda really dove deep into the first few days/weeks of it all going down but they really just kinda flew by it IMO.

I kinda gave up in that just last night I told my wife to watch Sunday's episode without me. But she didn't get around to it so I have a feeling i'll eventually watch 1 or 2 more. Hopefully they're solid and keep me around for the finale.

I keep thinking that it will get better when Chris dies. It's going to happen soon.

I became more interested in Madison's character after the most recent episode. She is becoming tougher, and the bouncy boobies didn't hurt either.

The group that typically watches walking dead has been doing a Game of Thrones bender trying to catch up using my blurays and once we are caught up with that, we might give Fear a couple more episodes to see if it rights the ship a bit. Right now I have about 3 or 4 saved on the DVR.

It's not a great show, but I watch it to help with The Walking Dead withdrawals

Agree, but I still watch it. Way too many moments. Daniel, Madison & Nick are the only interesting characters. The rest could bite it.

This show is losing me. Just rehashing story lines from the TWD. What is crazy is that is not even necessary. THey seem more concerned that they must introduce two gay characters that do not advance the narrative and ignorie plot holes or functioning storylines. Damn shame as this show has the potential to tell stories that the TWD did not. They had the chance start with a clean slate and are blowing it.

I'm almost caught up with this show. Have about 20 minutes left that I couldn't get through last night. Wow. I chuckle at the end of every episode when the beginning of Talking Dead bleeds over to my recording. This isn't some layered masterpiece that needs deciphering. I'm not going to waste time listing the criticisms. Instead I was curious about the ratings. No surprise they have consistently fallen.

Season 1

Season 2

I should note FTWD does very well with DVR numbers. These links are just the same day viewers, but the pattern remains the same. GOT debuted April 24(?) if interested in that week.

Series debut of FTWD last summer had over 10 million viewers & the finale had less than 7 million (6.86).

Season 2 debuted with only 6.67 million & the most recent episode had only 4.4 million.

Have not watched a single episode this season

I've tried to watch it this season and have turned it off both times. I just can't follow it anymore.

I have noticed the writers are pulling crap out of TWD (splitting everyone up into different groups is the most obvious thing) and it's just not working.

If it doesn't get better, it will die before TWD.
