If they didn’t vote Bhanu off, Bhanu would have gladly stabbed his 3 tribemates in the back after the merge and say they brought it on themselves. He reminds me of Gollum from LOTR. He definitely had a dark side the editors chose to minimize.

Jeff said successful new era players do like Q did and try to help or elevate a player like Bhanu. If you saw Bhanu and you’re only thought is to get rid of him, you won’t be successful, according to Jeff.

Just caught up on episodes, Bhaunu, might be the worst fricking player I’ve ever seen. frick Jeff and his “story”, get his arse outta here. He just terrible fricking terrible. Never seen someone get so much TV time being a pussy.

Bhanu was a terrible player but I did think he was pretty entertaining to watch.

This is a great analogy. The way he talks to himself and shifts opinions in an instant is just like Gollum. I think if he stayed longer, there was a possibility that he was going to murder his tribe mates in their sleep.

Always fun to see someone blindsided with an idol in their pocket. Pretty ironic considering the wild goose chase she put the others on and great intuition from Tim.

chick thought she was SO clever. They'll never suspect me. Way to arrogant and cocky. Goes home with an idol. happens so many times.

good to see the purple tribe win immunity. got the smaller basket but, they only had 3 members so, not as bad.

hunter is still the one to beat. if the bro alliance actually happens, he might have a chance.

I'm sure it's been asked before but, i don't remember the answer. at the end of tribal jeff says "grab your torches and head back to camp". Are they not allowed to use the torches to start a fire?

Probably not... they have to go back by boat I'm pretty sure so they probably have to put them out before getting on the boat.

Long gone are the days when they actually had to hike to and from tribal council.

I think they are prohibited from talking during the boat ride so when an episode starts and they are reacting to TC as they enter camp, that’s the first time they get to react to what happened.

Jem was in a bad spot with the idol. If she played it, the tribe would hate her for making them look foolish and she’d be branded as untrustworthy. Even if they merged, word would get out she can’t be trusted.

I didn't. I kept thinking they were wasting valuable time when they could tell me about players that matter instead of this irritating guy's story. I'm sure Bhanu was intersting in conversation, but not relevant on Survivor.

They definitely do not bring torches back to camp. I miss those days. I like them hiking there. Jeff used to say they got fire after their first tribal if they hadn't been able to make it before that.

Now, in this "earn everything" era, they don't bring torches back and they have to win something to earn their flint.

Venus social game was awful. But she should have played her idol. How did she believe that people she barely talked game with would be on board with her plan?

Nice try with the Bro-liance. But I think Hunter is seen an too much of a threat and the other bros will try to get him out pretty quick.

Do we think merge is next week?

This is my semi-annual rant that 3 tribes of 6 is terrible. We have wasted the first month of the show focusing on the losers. Also, with the way it is set up, losing begets losing. Unless they decide to require each member of the larger tribes to sit out before someone can sit out twice, the loser tribe just keeps getting weaker. Take a guy like Hunter. Instead of being 17% of the tribe, he is 20% or 33% like last night.

I guess the argument can be made that 2 tribes of 9 leads to cleaner lines at the merge and it isn't as interesting, but I would argue that they should start at 2 tribes of 9 then shake it up halfway to the merge.

Isn't Venus someone else. Didn't Jem get voted out?

Yes, Jem is gone. Venus is the other annoying chick.

i didn't get voting off that chick but, i guess they see more than i do.

Venus, while hot seems like a huge bitch.

Hey "it's you or moriah. Well, i want to vote off one of the men because I want a woman to win.

While voting off one of the men might have been a good strategy, making waves when you're told it's you or one of the other women seems like a bad play.

and of course the edit makes it look like she was in trouble but, she only got the 1 vote.

I was watching for this... and they did have the unlit torches at camp. They all set them against a tree when they got back to the beach in the first scene. Obviously they don't let them bring them onto the boats lit though.

Moriah should have outed her tribemates early on instead of going along with their story that it was a unanimous Jem vote out. She had a chance to turn it on Tim or Ben and let it slip right by.

Right. And she’s supposedly a big Survivor fan. She was on the bottom of her tribe and the merge was a huge opportunity for her but she protected the people who lied to her.

I can’t believe Tim didn’t talk to Maria about the Bro alliance thing. He seems slow.
