You likely won't see Emma Stone credited in film/television anymore...

Apparently the two-time Oscar winner would like everyone to call her by her given name from here on: Emily Stone. She chose "Emma" because apparently there was already an actor in SAG who went by Emily Stone. However, she's tired of the name and wants to be referred to by her Christian name.

I can respect that. Having to change your name because it was taken must have felt weird.

She won Best Actress in a Leading Role for the movie La La Land in 2017 and won Best Actress in a Leading Role for the movie Poor Things back in March.

When Mickey Fox came down from Canada he discovered there was already one in tSAG. He tried to buy the name but H'wood Mickey wanted $5K for it.
So Mickey Fox became Michael J. Fox.
There was already a Michael Fox in tSAG.

Micheal Keaton's real name is Michael Douglas. He had to change it for obvious reasons so he chose Keaton after Buster Keaton.

David Tennant's real name is David McCallum. He had to change it because there's another David McCallum, so he took the last name of the guy from the Pet Shop Boys.
