Yep, although there's a couple songs on Sailors that kick arse. Esp the live versions I've seen on YouTube.

These pretty boy pansies like sturgill and stapleton are the worst thing to happen to country. Hopefully Luke Bryan will put a whooping on his poser arse and show him what real country is all about

Saw him in Grand Prairie a few months ago. Disappointed with the show overall. Had a ton of technical problems and the acoustics were terrible. I know that’s not his fault. However, I’m well aware that he’s a great guitar player so he didn’t have to turn every song into a 15 minute guitar solo. I felt like I was watching a jam band perform. His opener, Fantastic Negrito, really sucked.

Sailors is way better than high top. Amazing album. There’s a reason it has such high critical acclaim. The song writing is excellent and it’s so cohesive.

I was at the Grand Prarie show as well. I agree that opener sucked, but Sturgill was clearly pissed off about the technical issues. Hard to blame him for that. As for stretching out the songs, I thought it was awesome. Some of the best guitar work I've seen in person. Sorry you didn't enjoy it, because they rocked out for 2 hours.

I just thought that he could of played more songs instead of stretching out the entire set list. I understand with his success that he can play what he wants and not really care about others opinions. I guess my expectations were a little off. We still had a good weekend in Dallas.
