Pretty sure everyone knows this band. Considered to be the next Led Zeppelin. This would've been a hell of a show to be at.

Always wanted to see a show a Red Rocks. Would love to see the Chili Peppers there, but this would be damn good too.

This is a very well done video for the concert. This is part one linked below.

Enjoy.

frick these troglodytes. That’s great already. I made it 9:33 then had to stop to save for watching later (meaning a better time, very good).

Man I don’t know. I liked that first album they had. I like their sound but watching that live video it’s like they want to be LZ so badly it detracts from what they bring to the table.

Crazy. On the MUSIC board, y’all sound like a bunch of disgruntled boomers. They’re doing this, looking like that, whatever.

I’m well over 40 myself fwiw. And take any grain of music for what it is.

Man I would hate to be so constrained in my music tastes in music as you folks but rock on.

Clutch your pearls grandmamas.

Eh, where's the funk at? Is this Christian rock?

GVF is the Michael J Fox of LZ wannabees.

Watching these guys prance around makes me uncomfortable.....like watching film clips of Hermann Goering march in his soft blue pastel uniforms amidst the hard black and silver of the rest of the Nazi elites.

The B-52's are more hardcore and more listenable than GVF:

The clearly stole Zeppelin’s sound. It they just aren’t as good. In fact they are just awful.

I'm well under 40 and even I can see how derivative GVF is. At least when Zeppelin ripped other artists off they were wise enough to change it up a bit.

Lot of hate for GVF on this board. They have some songs that are clearly derived from Zeppelin, but they are starting to stray from that. Regardless as far as current rock bands go they are putting out some of the best mustic. They also put on a great live show. My wife is not a huge fan, in fact she pretty much dislikes them, but enjoyed their show at the Smoothie King Center.

Pointing out that they are a derivative knock off of LZ is the opposite of being "constrained in...musical tastes." I think they are very good but the LZ comparison is impossible to ignore. Hopefully, they continue to branch out and find their own style.

Never quite understood why sounding like a great former band is some impossibly terrible thing that they should be tarred and feathered for

Saw them at ACL in 2018ish not knowing who they were and they were awesome live and have followed them since. The brother on guitar might be the more gifted out of the band, he was putting on a show that day.

I love their music but Josh the singer tries way too hard! He needs to take it down a bunch of notches on the outfits and the banter between songs. They’re a great live band. Saw them in New Orleans a few years ago.
