No timetable but says realistic he comes back for playoffs.

Personally I think if we get to second round he may have a shot.

The conference finals are the "playoffs", so yeah I guess that is true.

Pretty much what Griff said two years ago at this time... only to say after they were eliminated that they were never going to play Zion

Zion Williamson just told us that he doesn't believe the hamstring injury he suffered in the Play-In game is as serious as the one he suffered last year.

Added that it is "absolutely realistic" for him to return this postseason.

Williamson said the injury was "demoralizing" but he's already started doing some rehab work with trainers.

Seemed fairly optimistic when he spoke about where he is now in the process.

Yeah it didn’t look as severe. I dont even think if this series goes 7 games he comes back. I think the second round is somewhat realistic but I highly doubt we’ll be in the second round to even consider bringing him back.

This is Zion himself talking this time, not Griff

If Zion was absolutely done for the season I don’t think they would put him in front of the media

This motherfricker is going to be doing windmills in the SKC before a game and sit out when we're down 3-0 isn't he?

I don’t know man. I just saw the video of his response, he looks pretty depressed. I really feel honestly really bad for him. We can criticize him on a lot of fronts but watching that response you really feel for the guy.

If they're letting him talk to the press, it must be good news for his possible return.

Eh. Or they’re trying to avoid the bad press last year when he was criticized for not speaking to anyone in regards to his recovery and injury. I remember Perk criticizing him and saying we need to hear from Zion.

This is exactly what I meant when I made that thread a few days ago. I wish they asked him how does it feel right now, does it feel like it will be normal in a week or something like that.

The big thing here is, he is out speaking on wanting to return and it being a realistic possibility, if Griff gets in the way of it, Zion will be in front of the media to let us know that that garbage arse GM is just willing to throw away another season because he wants to continue the kid gloves approach.

Abd if that happens, him and Willie are gone for sure, and mission accomplished.

They did ask him. He said its no where near the pain he felt last year in hammy. He responded saying he needs to get back to baseline and pass tests. He was really detailed in his answers. I wont post it but you can find the interview on twitter.

If we can somehow beat OKC and the refs I think it’s realistic we see Zion i’m around game 3 or 4 of the next series.
