Its not a terrible pick with the O line situation
but you shouldn't have passed up Turner. Cam is in the twilight years and Young is a 1 and done.

He's an instant starter. Highly regarded, plays mean, and fills a need. People upset with the pick would have been upset with ANY pick.

The only exception I would have taken over oline was bower. fricking raiders

We gonna ignore he doesn't really fit the current system? Saints don't use a OLB to pass rush because they mainly play nickel and Turner isn't a big hand on the ground DE.
Verse would have been a better fit at DE for the Saints.
I also read several teams flagged Turner because.of his medical. Might explain why several teams passed.

People were very upset with me for wanting Turner as well and I get that the Saints don’t run 3-4, but Will Anderson played as a down lineman in a 4-3 this year for the Texans.

And Dallas Turner and Willanderson aren’t anywhere close to the same player

This is the correct answer.
Murphy woukd have also been nice to pair next to Breese for years. That woukd cause teams problems.
