I live in Michigan and every lions fan I know is celebrating having their core locked up. Goff is a stud in case you haven’t been paying attention the last 2 years.
Idk if you’re trying to make some comparison to Carr and his contract but Goff is a tier above Carr.

Neither of Goff/Carr is an elite qb.
Goff is getting top pay tho at 53 million a year.

I think this is accurate. Goff and Carr can both succeed if given a good supporting cast. Goff has been more fortunate to be with really good staffs his whole career

I also remember him getting hurt in the Green Bay game, which we were up 17 to 0 and then crab legs came in and blew the lead. Y’all hate too much on Carr winning that game would have made him a playoff qb last year.

Saints and Lions are my teams and always have been. I can say from first hand no bias that Goff is way frickin better than Carr. I’d take him at his contract number over Carr in a heart beat. Goff at times the last 2 years has been as good as anyone.
People keep showing QBR to disprove what I say but I think that’s a flawed stat. Every other stat is pretty heavily in Goffs favor especially the one that counts which is Wins.

Passer rating and QBR dispute what you say. No offense, but the 2 best metrics to judge qb play seem like a better way to evaluate than your eye test.

Carr doing those numbers despite working with a braintrust of Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael is honestly more impressive than Goff.
