Intrigued by the the Christian Watson kid. High risk high reward pick. Think he is taken pretty early in the second though and I doubt we would double up at receiver

Doesn't appear that the value aligns with the Saints most pressing needs (other than WR and I agree that we probably won't go WR twice in a row).

I think Nakobe Dean is going to be an All-Pro but he would be a luxury. In all likelihood, we won't have to worry about making that choice anyway.

In mocks, LB Leo Chanal was usually the highest ranked player remaining for the Saints at 49

Are we not sold on Werner or are we planning for life after Davis?

These two interest me

Ojabo had the knee injury at his workout though right?

Ojabo tore his Achilles at his pro day in March. I would think he won't be back until 2023

I think Dean would be a great pick - let him be an understudy to Davis for 1-2 years. Otherwise, they really need a TE.

I think the Packers could move up from picks 21 & 27 to draft him at the top of round 2.

Leal would be a superb add. We should also consider Trey McBride, TE, Colorado State. He lined up everywhere for them and was the focal point of their OFF. 90 catches, 1121 yds.

Davis is 30+ year old. If you can get a guy like Dean to rotate in and then take over, that’s a great situation to have. Especially for depth and the potential for injuries.

Would love Brisker, Pitre, or Breece Hall. I would also love to see us trade back in the second and pick up another pick. We covered our major holes yesterday

Could still use a S and CB.

Nakobe Dean needs to the right scheme - if your team continuously rolls out 2 LBs and plays a lot of zone, he doesn't fit.

If you want a heat seeking missile and someone to man up RBs in the passing game, then sure he's a great piece.

I love when there is a guy that is falling and he is beating the drum for them and criticizing teams for not taking them. That player being a bust is about as sure of a bet that it gets
