The Saints had two big needs in the draft: OT and more Ohio State players.

OT is in the bag. So who’s the next best Ohio St. player available?

Thanks for posting that video.

He really is a great athlete in the run game. I think he will be fine at rt.

I’d like to see the draft done in reverse order.
That leaves the best player picks at the end.

More exciting

Anyone else think it’s so pathetic how hard Sean Payton has been pushing to attach himself to Mahomes? You didn’t draft the guy. If he really thought Mahomes was that guy then he should have done what the Vikings did last night and moved up 1 spot. Brees made him so he has to cling onto a player that he “almost” drafted

Mahomes didn't want to be here is the rumor. And CSP showed his hand thinking he did. Can't say Mahomes was wrong can we.

I’m sick of the Mahomes talk. He went to be best situation for him where Reid lets him do his thing.

CSP would not have wanted Mahomes to play like Mahomes but try to make him play like Brees, within a system.

He would have made him play like an undersized qb with limited mobility and limited arm talent?

Coleman gone thank god. Did not want him after watching Matt Harmon’s Reception Perception video on him

He could be but it’s a very very short list of guys who struggled to separate in college that found success in the NFL

Actually, a Payton is good at letting a qb do what they are naturally good at and he likes mobility.
Brees was essentially immobile and Payton designed a system that best fit.

Where Brees made Payton look good is the reads as the line of scrimmage. He could see where a guy was going to be open before the snap and make the call with unusual efficiency and effectiveness.
