Complain every single time and get a free month of Prime.

I'm getting sick of the Prime Option showing 2 days then when you check out it changes the date. That bullshite won't fly with me.

Complain LOUD and get a free month of Prime.

in stock item now and it says 2-day shipping guaranteed by Sunday Aug 5

I'll have it where it is "Prime" an order on Thursday, but the estimated delivery date will be the following Monday. Since more and more places are starting to collect tax, I wonder how much longer I'll keep my membership. Sometimes they have stuff that I just can't get at local stores and for non-urgent items, it avoids me having to deal with extra traffic and people. So I guess it is a wash.

Ordered something the other day and got it in one day. Ordered some hummingbird feeders today, they were in stock and serviced by Amazon, and Prime and it said I wouldn't receive them until next Tuesday...wtf?

1) Talk to your local Post Office. Likely their fault. I only had that happen around Christmas myself and I get multiple packages per week.

2)This might be the best example of a first world problem I've seen in a long while. 10-15 years ago, most mail order packages came in 4-6 weeks unless you paid a ton for express. Count your blessings, baw

Or can just get free shipping if you are patient to wait an extra day for shipping. Walmart/Target/etc don’t charge membership fees but are getting in the two day shipping game. Additionally, Amazon isn’t always the cheapest! People confuse 2day shipping for thinking they are getting savings (lol at this thread). Order for Walmart/Target/eBay/Best Buy, no membership fee...profit. Yes, sometimes you have to wait one additional day. Boo hoo you impatient fools.

depends on how lazy your local USPS is

USPS delivers 75% on time, about 30% of the time.

just made a big order this morning. Batteries will be here tomorrow by 8pm, Snake boots and sippy cups will be here Saturday. Shotgun sight and diapers will come in Monday.

In Memphis, almost all shipping (including ground) is 2 day shipping. It’s basically one of the only perks of living here.

Amazon sucks Idk why people bother with it. The shipping used to be reliable but Amazon now uses another method that makes it not so. The reviews under all the shite are mixed and you don’t even realize. Fake reviews everywhere also. They group all sellers into one product pool so you don’t what the frick is counterfeit or safe. The deals aren’t great. People hype it because the Prime fee! Yea, I said it

Used to be you could place an order by 6pm on a Thursday and it would be there on Saturday.

Now it's place an order by 7am on a Wednesday for it to arrive on Saturday.
My point exactly.. if you ordered by the cutoff any particular day it was there in two days every time. Now it's 3 days no matter what time of day you order it (even though it may come in earlier, the guarantee is absolutely different than it used to be).

Ordering a very common in stock item now and it says 2-day shipping guaranteed by Sunday Aug 5. The last several items I've ordered, same bullshite.

Let me explain how this works. Amazon and it's sellers must ship orders by the next business day. So, if you order an item today, it ships tomorrow. The 2 Day shipping window begins when the shipment is in the hands of the carrier not the day you order the item. So, in your case, order is picked up on Friday...Saturday is day 1 and Sunday is day 2.

Be glad it's Amazon otherwise you wouldn't see it till Monday.
