The donuts are good - haven’t tried the kolaches
There were Shipley’s in the Rio Grande valley when we lived there for a year or two when I was a kid - those were the best donuts at the time down there but we had to drive an hour to get them
Louisiana has a better variety of donut makers to choose from

Shipleys is awesome. Way better than other doughnut franchises like Daylight, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, etc

Shipleys is probably the best mainstream donut shop out there. Period. Kolaches are fantastic too
