Is argue its a little bit different than people wanting to pay for college since most of the trannies have some sort of mental illness not associated with military service. I guess the argument could be made that they shouldn't even be allowed to serve to begin with.

Well I agree its different. But it will be the same concept of an influx for free services.
As I said in an earlier post the mental illness piece is what I find most alarming in this whole thing. You have a group with a disproportionately high suicide rate being handed weapons and put in a stressful environment where the suicide rate is already alarmingly high. So it will probably result in an even higher murder/suicide rate for transgender's serving in the military.

I'm not really proud of this but we had a closeted gay guy assigned to our submarine once.
He was processed off quickly though when it was discovered he didn't know how to climb stairs. Poor guy would try but kept fricking falling for some reason...

So now many economically challenged individuals who need sex change operations will be able to join the military, serve the nation and get their medical procedures covered. Win win win. Question, will they have to get the full transformation? Or will they get to keep their man parts and get boob jobs?
