No bugs, no bears, and it after the lakes freeze we can explore areas we typically can't get to the rest of the year. It really opens things up for us. Short days kind of stink though.

I hate being cold. I like the idea of cold days more than I like the actual cold. If I had to pick between being really hot or really cold, I would pick really hot.

I’m amazed at how many people are saying cold weather. A lot of people here always say that they’d never live in the north because “frick the cold.”

I like cold but not below freezing as long as the sun is shining. One my nose hairs start freezing it isn't as enjoyable.

So true

I prefer the hot (live in Chicago). My goal is to become a bit of a snowbird here pretty soon.

I’ve lived here now for 5 years
It’s not as cold as I thought it would be
And it’s still hot as frick in the summer

Is there a ski hill somewhat close by? If yes, cold weather by far. Moved to Idaho for both the proximity to skiing and to escape the humidity.
