Same here. I canceled my subscription a couple months ago after being with them for years and switched to Gillette Fusion.

Barbasol has a nice subscription plan.

Very good razor.

Shocked no one said Jeremy's razors.

I like the "Stop giving your money to companies that hate you." tagline, but have not tried them yet.

Also, I have not noticed DSC's change, yet...

Am I missing something? All I see on the Harry's website is a massive 5-blade cartridge. I don't want that. I just want a classic Mach-3 style razor.

So DSC is no longer using Dorco razor blades?

I started ordering Dorco blades from Amazon when I found out that is what DSC used.

How many shaves you get with the safety razors? I shave my head 2-3 times a week along with my beard/neck line.

If you wash and dry the DE blades off after your shave (to prevent microscopic rusting/corrosion from occurring) there is no reason you shouldn't be able to get the same amount of shaves with a DE razor as you would with a cartridge. Even if not, the DE blades are significantly cheaper than the cartridges. I picked up a pack of 50 Feather DE blades last year for $17.00. Feathers are generally considered to be one of the top blades in the industry and you can find blades that are just as good for a few bucks less. I can get about 10 shaves per blade with zero discernable change in sharpness. That means I'm changing blades about every 2 weeks (I rarely shave on weekends). If you do that math that means 50 blades will last me ~2 YEARS. A pack of 12 cartridge blades will cost you what, $23-$25. Those 12 will, at best, get you 6 months of shaves (probably less). That means 2 years of shaves = $100 vs. 2 years of DE blades at $15

Merkur DE razor. Buy a sampler pack of blades for about $15-20 and try them out. That should take you the better part of a year and decide which ones you like. You can probably get 50 blades of your choice for $20 (maybe cheaper) and you're set. I promise you'll get a better shave. PROMISE!

I haven't shaved since high school because I'm a man that can actually grow facial hair.

The cheapest disposable 2 blades I can find. Can usually find a pack of 10 for around $5

What state do you live in? Seems wildly unpractical in Louisiana during the summer months

I went back to pro glides too. They were really great when they first came out. I didn’t find they didn’t last anywhere near as long as the better razors. But then the quality went to absolute shite. Like noticeably fast.

You don't shave your neck? Just rocking the full neckbeard from chest to chin?

Glad I am not alone.

I had been using them for almost 10 years. It was such a great and easy convenience. Out of nowhere they changes the blades suck arse.
I feel like if I shave regularly it works better. But if I go any longer than normal for a shave, the blades are really bad.

Sorry, you are right. It's 5 blades, getting old and blind sucks.
