Ain't shite left in Haiti. They cut down all the trees, stewed and ate the bark, burned the limbs, sold the lumber for nothing, and now all they have is dirt. The satellite view of the border of the DR and Haiti is stark.
ETA: And the death count from hurricane Dorian is still way undersold. That homeless camp full of Haitians right near the ocean had thousands, and it was wiped out entirely.

Haitians are simply Sub Saharan Africans. Unfortunately, they have the lowest IQ as a group of people in the Western Hemisphere. This is not a racist thing, but factually accurate.

A friend of mine (white guy) grew up there in the 50’s. Said it was beautiful back then. Went back to Haiti in the 90’s to visit. Said it was depressing. The population exploded and wiped out all the trees. Not a beautiful tropical place anymore.

I went to the Dominican years back and they absolutely hate Haitians. If the Haitians did find to way to get to DR,the Dominicans wouldn’t educate the kids

Isn't this supposedly what happened to the civilization on Easter Island? They raped the land, cut down their last tree for fire wood, had no way off the island, ate all the food, then the civilization literally starved to death.
